This policy explains what information GuysWhoFit collects, why we collect it, how it's used, and what control you have over it. We've written it in plain language intentionally.

Who We Are

GuysWhoFit is a curated menswear lookbook.

GuysWhoFit ("we", "us", "our") operates the website at guyswhofit.qzz.io. We are a content and affiliate site — we curate men's outfits, link the pieces, and allow users to save looks to a personal collection. We are not a retailer and we do not process payments.

Information We Collect

We collect very little, and only what's needed.

We collect information in two ways: information you give us directly, and information collected automatically when you use the site.

Information you provide

Email address and password — if you create an account using email and password sign-up.

Google account details — if you sign in with Google, we receive your name and email address from Google. We do not receive your Google password.

Saved and liked fits — the IDs of outfits you save or like are stored against your account so you can access them across devices.

Information collected automatically

Usage data — pages visited, how long you spend on a page, and general navigation patterns. This is anonymised and used in aggregate to understand how the site is used.

Device and browser info — your browser type, operating system, and screen size, used to ensure the site displays correctly.

IP address — logged by our hosting infrastructure as standard. Not used to identify you personally.

How We Use It

Your data is used to run the site. Nothing else.

To create and manage your account and saved collection

To remember your preferences across visits

To understand which parts of the site are working well and which aren't

To keep the site secure and prevent abuse

We do not sell your personal data. We do not share your data with advertisers. We do not build advertising profiles. We do not send marketing emails unless you explicitly opt in to something (which we currently don't offer).

Third-Party Services

Services we use that may process your data.

GuysWhoFit uses a small number of third-party services to function. Each of these may process some of your data as described below.

Each of these services operates under its own privacy policy. We choose services with strong privacy practices, but we encourage you to review their policies directly if you have specific concerns.

We use cookies for authentication and basic analytics only.

Cookies are small text files stored in your browser. GuysWhoFit uses them for the following purposes:

Session cookies — keep you logged in while you browse. These expire when you close your browser or sign out.

Persistent authentication tokens — if you choose to stay signed in, a token is stored so you don't have to log in on every visit.

Analytics cookies — used in anonymised, aggregate form to understand traffic patterns. No personally identifiable information is attached.

You can clear cookies through your browser settings at any time. Doing so will sign you out of your account.

Data Retention

We keep your data only as long as your account is active.

Account data (email, saved fits, liked fits) is retained for as long as you have an active account on GuysWhoFit. If you delete your account, your personal data is removed from our database. Anonymised, aggregate analytics data (with no personal identifiers) may be retained indefinitely for site performance purposes.

Your Rights

You're in control of your data.

Depending on where you are located, you may have certain rights over your personal data, including:

The right to access the personal data we hold about you

The right to correct inaccurate data

The right to request deletion of your data

The right to object to or restrict certain processing

The right to data portability (receiving your data in a usable format)

Children's Privacy

GuysWhoFit is not directed at children.

This site is intended for a general adult audience. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age of 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

Changes to This Policy

We'll tell you if anything material changes.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we'll update the "last updated" date at the top of the page. For significant changes that affect how your data is used, we'll make reasonable efforts to notify you — for example by displaying a notice on the site. Continued use of the site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
